Hurray! I’m working with up-and-coming Borders playwrights as Associate Playwright for Playwrights’ Studio Scotland for a second year. Year 1 of the Playwrights’ Studio Scotland Scottish Borders programme covered playwriting foundations and culminated in a hugely successful and inspiring Talkfest with performed readings at Galashiels Macarts. The playwright’s group are now working together to develop plays in progress and deepen their playwriting craft skills. Also lining up are public workshops, sessions with visiting associate playwrights and, of course, the Playwrights’ Studio party during Edinburgh Festival!
